Herbal medicines are dispensed during the consultation and typically cost between £7 and £10 per week depending on the quantity prescribed.

Ellie always gives her patients detailed dietary advice and may recommend supplements and discuss lifestyle habits too where appropriate.

About Ellie….

Ellie has over twenty years experience working as a Medical Herbalist and now also practises and teaches Nutrition.

Ellie completed a four year BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University in 2000. She has been trained in the same diagnostic skills as orthodox doctors, but takes a holistic approach to illness.  The degree course included extensive training to a high standard in the medical sciences: pathology, diagnostic skills, pharmacology and pharmacy, as well as botany, herbal therapeutics, nutrition and clinical skills.  She has also had two years of clinical training at the Archway Clinic of Herbal Medicine in the Whittington Hospital, North London.

Since qualifying in 2000 Ellie has continuously seen patients at her private practise, she has also spent several years teaching Herbalism courses, mentoring newly qualified herbalists, and has practised herbal first aid at Glastonbury and other festivals. She teaches Nutrition at the City Lit. in Holborn and also teached nutrition on the Heartwood professional Herbal Medicine four year course.

As a member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy, she is fully insured and bound by a strict code of ethics.

Ellie is passionate about supporting patients in their path back to good health and empowering them to take charge of their own wellbeing.
